Note 1: For many new Home Owners, the value of the lot, and any improvements, may represent the collateral to obtain a home loan. Lot decision may also impact the home design and size. At Morgan Snidow, we offer our assistance at this stage of decision making, giving you insight into how your decisions here may ripple though your entire project.
Note 2: A preliminary home design should be dependant not only on the key elements the home owner wants, but also other aspects such as lot size, lot set backs, home owner's association conventions and other requirements.
Note 3: At a Preliminary Review, the Home Owner will get a more certain sense of the cost of the house. From this process, the home owner can more accurately forecast the costs to the lender for the home construction and eventual permanent financing. At this stage, the Home Owner will see if anything in the home design should be changed to improve financing or increase overall value to the house.
